While I was taking this shot in the small village near Minsk, two men approached me and asked if I was from some newspaper.. I was curious about why they thought I should have been and they told me the story..
For a long time this building was a public bath-house where almost all the population of the village used to wash themselves (this most houses in the village don't have running water inside). Once, the new collective farm boss came (the village is still a part of a collective farm) and got all the water-heating and water-supply equipment disassembled and taken to his private house where it was installed.
Bath-house had been closed down and people were furious about that, but no official complaints were listened to and for 3-4 years by now complaint paper have been drifting through local bureaucrats' offices.
So fellas were wondering I was going to write a story in a newspaper showing up such a crying injustice towards people of the village.. Well, may be some day I will.
